This is spying. Isn't it FUN?

Brody attending the meeting Walker had so casually mentioned turned into a three ring circus. More than one person involved was convinced the whole thing was a wild goose chase, including Carrie occasionally. If she hadn't seen Walker as up close and personal as she had when they were first rescued, she could have been convinced. Maybe sending Brody to a regular meeting for returning vets who were also Muslim was just a kind of fuck you from a man who felt he'd been betrayed by a brother soldier. Or it could be something much more sinister. The problem was, no one could really figure out what that sinister was supposed to be. Carrie continued to maintain that Brody had no idea what was going on.

The questions Brody faced right after the meeting ranged from if he knew any of the people there already to how was he planning to overthrow the US government. When the questions headed that way a majority of the time, Carrie called foul and got Brody out of there. With full understanding of the irony involved, they had decided that the cover that would work best with his family was that he was working with other vets on integrating back into the world. Carrie would have felt a lot worse about that if it was just being used to cover up them fucking around. She still felt pretty shitty about it given how much stress it was putting on him.

They took their own cars back to her place. She got there before him and immediately opened a fresh bottle of wine, leaving a full glass on the counter for him, then she went upstairs to change into something decidedly less official looking.

She let out a squeak, then a happy moan at being enclosed in his arms again. "That's a funny way of sleeping, Marine." She worked her hands between them so she could lightly grope him. "But if you're sure you want to sleep, you go right ahead."

She was horrible and he told her as much with a growl against her neck. "Trying to kill me?"

She snorted, but didn't even remotely stop abusing him. "I know exactly how tough you are. My little hands on your big...uhm...self isn't enough to kill you." She tightened her hand. "Just touching."

He ground against her hand. "You're shameless." He didn't mind, of course. He was enjoying it. He cupped her face and kissed her hard.

She slid her hand a little lower, then back up, trying to get him to squirm. Then he was kissing her and she couldn't tell him that he should know that about her by now. They'd been fucking within a half hour of meeting each other, after all. She nipped at his lips, almost daring him to intensify things.

He'd had enough sleep to intensify things without a thought. He nipped her right back, then reached between them and grabbed her wrists. With a shift and a growl, he had her hands over her head and held down on the bed.

It didn't take much for him to have her effectively incapacitated. He out massed her by at least her own body weight and could easily do anything up to and including killing her without even breaking a sweat. She didn't think he meant her any harm, but that didn't mean she was an idiot. PTSD hit in strange ways.

She exhaled slowly as she met his eyes. "You have something in mind?"

He caught the look in her eyes and frowned slightly. "I'm not going to hurt you, if that's what you are asking." He just wanted to be in charge, really in charge, for a few minutes.

The moment he spoke, before the sentence was even finished, she relaxed visibly. She had specific reasons to worry about him, but most of them were closely tied to the kinds of worries any woman might have about any man she was still in a new relationship with. And then things with them got complicated.

"I was just wondering if you had a plan." She smiled slowly and shifted as much as she could under him, then glanced up at his hands on her wrist. "You know I like it when you're up there."

He chuckled softly. "My plan, Carrie, is to fuck you senseless." If he knew the place was tapped, he might not have been as flippant. But, as far as he knew, it was just them.

"I'd like to hear you scream your name."

She managed a rough laugh, one that showed clearly she was down with that. "Oh, well, yeah, that. We could do that." She bucked up against him with a groan. "But you'll have to work for it." Licking her lips, she met his eyes again, this time her expression full of sexual challenge. "You can do that, can't you?"

"I can do that." He tightened his hands around her wrists and shifted his weight, pinning her fully under him. "Question is, can you handle it?"

There was an increasing possibility that he was going to leave marks on her wrists. She was almost as pale as him and he was exerting a fair bit of pressure. Still, she laughed again. "Oh, you have no idea what I can handle." She licked her lips again, knowing she was pushing him.

"Guess we're gonna find out." He tightened his grip a little more as he forced her legs further apart with his knees. There was definitely a slightly insane gleam in his eyes as he pressed against her. His mouth went to her shoulder and he kissed her once, before laying in with teeth.

His expression made her stomach flutter out of fear and need. Doing this with him was going to be a roller coaster, she could tell already. That didn't mean she didn't understand. And of course, the pain in her shoulder did wonders in distracting her from any deep thought about it all. "Fuck!" She twisted her hands, testing his grip more than trying to get away. "I'm going to need that later."

He laughed against her skin before biting her in a slightly different spot. And her twisting only caused him to squeeze her wrists harder. Now that he had her legs far apart, he took her with a savage thrust. There was no warming up this time. He was ready to go.

For the first time ever, he truly hurt her. Just because she was expecting it, maybe even welcomed it, didn't make it any less a shock to her body. She fought him for real, not to get away, but to find some tiny change of angle that would make it hurt less. She swore again, much more loudly when her movements pulled against his teeth. And then she did the thing that defined her. She pushed him again. "Think that's going to do it?"

He let her have that little angle change. Right until she pushed. Then he shifted her wrists into one hand and grabbed her face with the other. With her hands and head now pinned, he growled down at her. "I think you'll wish it was that easy."

She tried to jerk away from him, but his hand was nearly the size of her face. She wasn't going anywhere until he decided it. For the first time in their relationship, she didn't have any power in this situation. Not as far as he was concerned. She could yell for help at any point, but it would take them a while to get there. She had no intention of doing that. Feeling him in control was a thrill. "Stronger than I look."

"I can see that." He was teasing her now, clearly mocking that she couldn't move to get away.

All he had really wanted since they'd hauled him out of that hole was to be in charge of his choices. The CIA wouldn't let him have that, the Marines wouldn't. His own family didn't let him have that. That he felt comfortable enough with Carrie to take that control would, when they both came down, be a testament to how good she was for him.

But at the moment, even he was, in some small part of his mind, a little afraid of himself.

She shook her head, or at least tried to. Getting away wasn't what would make her strong in this situation. He'd been restrained, imprisoned, and controlled. He knew what it took to survive that. She almost felt like she needed to prove to him that she was worthy by surviving what he could dish out. It struck her, as she struggled beneath him, that she was getting wet.

Oh well, she'd always known she was crazy.

If she survived him, she'd prove herself alright. But it wasn't a measure of worth anymore, for him. It was a measure of rightness. If she didn't throw him out, if she held on to herself, he'd follow her anywhere.

The fact that her body was responding positively, even if she was still denying him, spoke to the effect he had on her.

With a sneer on his lips, he started to move. He was as far from gentle as he knew how to be. Which wasn't as far from gentle as he could be, but it was definitely a large step in that direction.

Full thrusts brought another round of struggling. Carrie jerked and twisted underneath him, actively trying to get away from the battering ram between her legs. She was getting excited, but it wasn't helping fast enough. Seeing the intense expression worked wonders on her, though. She started panting with the strain and with her own growing need. "Fuck you. I can take this."

His sneer deepened. Being cursed at was definitely a button, but perhaps not the one she wanted to push. His hand moved from her face to her throat and closed there. Perhaps a little panic was in order.

She wasn't expecting that and he got what he wanted. Deep under the fear was a kind of perverse certainty that he didn't mean to seriously harm her, but that didn't stop her animal self from freaking the fuck out. Her large eyes went wide with surprise and fear and she pulled hard enough on her wrists that she ensured there would be bruises.

She managed to croak out a few words. "Can't scream like this."
