Briefings with Saul were getting more and more tense. Carrie could feel the strain on all of them as a real, palpable thing. Beside her, no one had ever had much faith in Brody, which was largely her fault. How could she explain her change of heart without explaining it was exactly that. What was harder was not telling him about how bad it was. Every time she was vague it was a physical pain.

The final straw was a heated conversation about what they would do if he were found out, revealed to be on a mission. They had escape plans, but it was clear very few people in that room gave a damn if they worked. Or if they even existed. She'd been through hell for the man they were dismissing like so much dross and all because... She wasn't that sure why because at this point. It was about Saul, really, and she knew that. That's why when he made a passing comment that made it sound damn like he'd made his decision and Brody didn't figure into it at all, she felt her stomach lurch so badly she almost had to leave the room.

She didn't go to him that night, that would be stupid. She waited a day, all of which was spent wondering when she would throw up. She got there late, just before dark, and sat back to watch the men finish up before meal break. He looked good. Better than when she saw him last, even.

In all fairness, she meant that part, too. He seemed to mostly like those things, and since they were a huge part of her, it worked out pretty well. Unless he was tired. Or cranky. She leaned in and kissed him firmly. She wanted the circuit connected fully. When she tasted him, she whimpered happily.

His arms slid around her and he moaned into her mouth. After kissing her for a few moments, he turned his head and encouraged her to straighten up again. "I want my show, baby."

Grinning, she sat all the way up and twisted a little to let him see her. Then, she grinned more and ran a hand over her belly. Her eyes fluttered shut a little as she realized how her body was changing already. Moving her hand up to her breast, she squeezed and pulled, letting him see how she reacted to the sensations. She moaned and twitched happily.

"Do that more." His hands settled back on her hips again, helping her move so that she could touch herself. She was so beautiful and watching her was a huge turn-on for him.

She laughed at his command, the sound throaty and pleased. Then she pinched on nipple hard enough to make her whimper. The other hand moved to high on her torso and scratched just hard enough to leave marks. They would fade quickly, but they showed well for the moment. Each touch made her clutch at him, holding him tightly inside her. That also made her whimper. "Like that?"

She whimpered and he growled. "Just like that." If he thought about it too much, he would rather be the one hurting her, leaving marks. But that meant letting go and he didn't want to do that at all.

She knew what he wanted. Every time she pinched her nipple he jumped inside her. Which made her grind against him. Licking her lips, she moved her hand so she pinched the pale skin beside her nipple, where she could leave a real bruise. She pinched hard enough to make her cry out, hard enough that she knew she'd leave a mark.

He growled at her cry, bucking even harder under her. But it still wasn't enough. He wanted more. So he changed tactics and told her as much, told her how much he wanted his hands on her pale skin, pinching and pulling, leaving marks.

She whimpered first, then laughed roughly. His ideas sounded lovely. Better than lovely. They sounded necessary. Absolutely required. Instead of telling him with words, she told him in the way she held on, readying herself for anything he might do. It was only them now, he could leave a mark. Many marks. The idea made her tremble. She wasn't used to it at all.

He finally gave in to his own words and rolled them over. With her pinned under him, he had a little more freedom, although the view wasn't as nice. He ran a hand along her side, nails just barely scraping as he slowed his pace inside her. No need to rush things, after all.

When he found a spot that made her twitch more than the others, he concentrated his focus. He caught flesh between his fingers and pinched sharply, nails pressing in just a little bit.

She went down with a happy grunt, laughing softly when she caught her breath. Obligingly, she wriggled for him, giving him even more to work against. She would never fight him, not really, but if she could make him hit that one spot more often. Or that one on the other side... She arched harder toward him with a moan. "We'll ignite some day. I know it."

He laughed a rough growl and pinched her again, twisting her flesh. "Always on fire with you, babe." He nipped at her lips, then slammed into her once before slowing down again.

Slowing down wasn't fair at all. Not after he took her breath away with that thrust. She wrapped a leg around him and rocked hard against him. "Always. From the first touch." That first, mad coupling. She shuddered happily at how deep he was. "Feel so good. I'm gonna get spoiled."

"You already are spoiled." He ground against her, moaning her name against her lips before pinching her again. "So spoiled."

She was not spoiled. Not really. But she wasn't going to argue with him when what he was doing felt so fucking good. She groaned loudly, then dug her nails into him where they just happened to be. One was on his ass, the other on his back. He felt ridiculously good.

His growl deepened and he bucked hard against her hips. He pinched her again, then shifted to pull at her nipple. She was completely spoiled and they both knew it.

The way she grabbed at him, wanting him hard against her, demanding it, was what really proved him more correct. Of course the moaning helped. And the way she kept rocking hard against him. Spoiled rotten and loving it. "Too damn good. I'll keep you in bed all day, we'll never earn a living."

He laughed softly, roughly, against her lips before kissing her again. When he pulled back, he started moving again, grinning at her. "No you won't. You like variety."

She scoffed at him. "You don't think you could provide variety right here? I have more faith in you than that." She probably would get bored, eventually, but it would take a while. "Wouldn't mind trying that. See how long we last."

He stopped moving so that he could laugh. He dug his nails into her breast as he watched her, watching her eyes. "Need the house first. And a bed."

She arched hard against him, not wanting him to stop even for laughter. "Right. House. Bed. Then..." She arched again, grinding against him. "Got it. It's a date." It sounded so good she whimpered softly.

Just because she didn't want him to stop meant he was going to. Buried deep inside her, he went still, not even pinching her. "Good."

It took her a moment to realize he was being difficult. Then she did the only thing she really could do without starting a fight. She glared at him. "You're impossible." She didn't explain what she meant. He knew. She could see it in his eyes. "And I will get you back."

His grin broadened and he nodded before kissing her again. Then his hips started to roll, working both of them back up. He ran his nails down her side, leaving marks, before pinching over her hip bone.

She groaned loudly, half pleasure and half mock annoyance. "I'm pale, too, you know. I'm going to bruise if you keep doing that." Not that she minded much. They were on their own now. They could do what they wanted. And he wouldn't really hurt her. She rocked against him again. "Please?"
