Briefings with Saul were getting more and more tense. Carrie could feel the strain on all of them as a real, palpable thing. Beside her, no one had ever had much faith in Brody, which was largely her fault. How could she explain her change of heart without explaining it was exactly that. What was harder was not telling him about how bad it was. Every time she was vague it was a physical pain.

The final straw was a heated conversation about what they would do if he were found out, revealed to be on a mission. They had escape plans, but it was clear very few people in that room gave a damn if they worked. Or if they even existed. She'd been through hell for the man they were dismissing like so much dross and all because... She wasn't that sure why because at this point. It was about Saul, really, and she knew that. That's why when he made a passing comment that made it sound damn like he'd made his decision and Brody didn't figure into it at all, she felt her stomach lurch so badly she almost had to leave the room.

She didn't go to him that night, that would be stupid. She waited a day, all of which was spent wondering when she would throw up. She got there late, just before dark, and sat back to watch the men finish up before meal break. He looked good. Better than when she saw him last, even.

His eyes fluttered and he momentarily forgot what they were talking about in favor of enjoying the feel of her hand working at him. He gave a full body shiver, then moved to kiss her again. "A very huge bed," he whispered against her lips, his ability to actually speak English fleeing the immediate area.

She managed not to laugh at him, mostly because it would betray her own need. She shifted so she could caress his belly with her other hand, smiling sweetly. "And big lounge chairs on the back patio." She was thinking of the one off the bedroom. Where they might curl up at night. "I've been thinking about that."

He groaned at the additional sensation from her other hand. "What have you been thinking?"

She was impressed he could follow her that well. She must not be abusing him enough. To make up for that, she shifted a little so she could kiss his chest. "Sitting out back. At night. Maybe naked." The back was private enough.

The whole house was fairly private, so he couldn't see a problem with that. He shifted his weight over her and groaned again before finally giving up and rolling onto his back. if she was going to torture him this way, she might as well have room to work.

She managed, barely, not to rub her hands together in glee when he made himself available to her like that. Shifting quickly, she got herself up on his thighs so she could reach all of him. Then she ran her hands over his belly. Using her nails, she downright purred at the feel of him. "We are getting entirely too good at this."

He chuckled roughly under her. "You say that like it's a bad thing, baby." In his book, it was the exact opposite. It was a very good thing. A thing to be encouraged.

She shook her head. "Bad? No. Just...you're going to have to work out more. To keep up." She pinched him just under his nipple. He was in outstanding shape, he really had nothing to worry about now. "I'm told that my sex drive should only increase over the next few months, now that I'm feeling better." It was true, or so the books said. He'd know better than her.

His response, after a low groan, was to grin knowingly. "I've heard that rumor, too."

She pinched him again, this time right on the nipple. Abusing him made her belly tighten in a lovely way. "Then it must be true. More protein in your diet. More rest." Not that they were likely to get much rest with a house to set up and jobs to find. But she wasn't thinking about that now. She was thinking about abusing him, which made her smile sweetly.

He could tell what she was thinking and he groaned roughly before bucking under her. "You know you'd have to leave me alone to let me rest, right?"

She had to laugh at that. There was no way she was leaving him alone for long. If that meant he was a little sleep deprived, so be it. "I'll make sure you are all worn out." She nipped him again before starting to run her hands all over him. "You'll sleep like a baby. I promise."

He groaned roughly and arched into her hands. "You are evil." Not a complaint, at all. His fingers combed into her hair and he rumbled under her before pulling her into a rough kiss.

She smiled softly even as her breathing picked up. It was clearly a compliment and she took it as such. She even rewarded him by giving him her nails for a little while. Getting that groan again would be lovely. "I'm not, you know. Tricky. Dedicated, but not really evil." She kissed him lightly. "It can be hard to tell the difference sometimes." Particularly when her nail caught his nipple.

Each time she caught his nipple, he groaned. She was evil. In the best possible way. He bucked hard under her, then pinched one of her nipples in response.

Her nipples were increasingly sensitive and she jumped in surprise, letting out a little yelp. He was going to pay for that, but not yet. Better to sneak up on him with it. For now she kissed him hard, pressing her body against his. Her hand moved down his side, nails pressing lightly. She shuddered slightly at how strong he felt. She'd watched him change so much.

He shuddered again at her nails, then grabbed hold of her hips. Enough teasing. He was very close to just taking what she was promising.

Carrie was having a ridiculously fun time just abusing him. He shuddered an made these lovely little noises. Of course, so was she at that point. Still, she knew what his hands on her hips meant. She ground against him, daring him to push, and kissed him with surprising tenderness, just for the fun of the contrast.

She was going to be in so much trouble soon.

He growled at the tease and squeezed her hips hard. When the kiss broke, he whispered roughly against her lips. "You're pushing your luck, baby."

She didn't laugh. Not because she didn't want to, she did. But she wanted to moan more. Of course, she didn't want to give him that yet, either. She ran a hand over his chest, dragging her nails over him. "I have no idea what you mean."

She knew exactly what he meant and he growled again in response. Then he bucked under her again, rumbling low in his chest.

She had to laugh at that. She didn't mean to drive him crazy, but if she was, that was fine. If he kept making that noise, she was happy. She could feel it to her toes. "Yes? Was there something you wanted?"

Of course there was, but getting him to ask, or take, was more fun.

It was past asking. He shifted her by the grip he had on her hips, adjusting her, then driving hard into her. He wasn't going to roll them yet, but if she fought him, he would.

She wasn't about to worry about shifting them. Now that he was inside her, she was perfectly happy. He always felt good, but he was starting to feel even better. If this was a side effect of pregnancy, she was going to have to thank the little spawn later. "Fuck. Feels so good."

He smirked up at her. "You like it this way, don't you, baby?"
