This is spying. Isn't it FUN?

Brody attending the meeting Walker had so casually mentioned turned into a three ring circus. More than one person involved was convinced the whole thing was a wild goose chase, including Carrie occasionally. If she hadn't seen Walker as up close and personal as she had when they were first rescued, she could have been convinced. Maybe sending Brody to a regular meeting for returning vets who were also Muslim was just a kind of fuck you from a man who felt he'd been betrayed by a brother soldier. Or it could be something much more sinister. The problem was, no one could really figure out what that sinister was supposed to be. Carrie continued to maintain that Brody had no idea what was going on.

The questions Brody faced right after the meeting ranged from if he knew any of the people there already to how was he planning to overthrow the US government. When the questions headed that way a majority of the time, Carrie called foul and got Brody out of there. With full understanding of the irony involved, they had decided that the cover that would work best with his family was that he was working with other vets on integrating back into the world. Carrie would have felt a lot worse about that if it was just being used to cover up them fucking around. She still felt pretty shitty about it given how much stress it was putting on him.

They took their own cars back to her place. She got there before him and immediately opened a fresh bottle of wine, leaving a full glass on the counter for him, then she went upstairs to change into something decidedly less official looking.

She shook her head. "Never going to recover from you." And she didn't want to. She wanted to feel this good all the time. The rumble did make her laugh thought. "Behind me? I liked that. I'm good with that." She frowned. "I'm babbling."

"You aren't babbling." He kissed his way along her neck, then settled with his head on her shoulder and his arm around her. "You just let me know when you can hold yourself up."

"I am, just not out loud." She was going a mile a minute in her brain. Softly kissing his brow, she groaned. "You do things to me. Good things. Very good." She shook her head. "I'm not sure you're going to get me holding myself up. Pillows. We could use pillows."

"Pillows would work." He didn't move yet, though. "What are you thinking about?"

"Thinking?" She looked at him, then looked at the fire. "Thinking about you. About me. About how good this feels." She laughed softly. "About how good it's going to feel. About how to feel this way more." Like if he left his wife and she told Saul to stuff it. "About how big you are and if I can take it when I'm flying like this."

"See, babbling." Her words weren't coming out in a rush, though, just a steady stream of thought.

"Not babbling." He looked up and kissed her again, then started touching her. Light touches, nothing overtly sexual, as he slowly worked her back up to being ready for him.

After a little while, as the touch worked its magic, she turned to him for a real kiss. WHen she pulled away, she smiled at him. "Do I do that for you? Does it work the same way?"

He flashed her a grin and nodded. "Oh yeah. You do. I have the hardest time keeping my hands to myself when I'm with you. It's like I get drunk off of you."

He gently started to shift her, to get the pillows collected and arranged even as he touched her.

She was in good enough shape now to help him some, getting herself in position for him to take whatever he wanted. Much later she'd think about what they were saying and how really, truly unhealthy it probably was, but at the moment it was what she wanted to hear. As she settled, she stretched herself long, then hung her head with a whimper. "Better than drunk. Whole."

He got himself behind her and ran his hands along her sides. For him, drunk and whole were pretty much the same thing. They were a divorce from the reality of the bad turn his life had taken. That he was making the conscious choice to be with her and not drunk only spoke to the concern he had for his liver. It made no mention of his general avoidance behavior.

After tracing her sides and her spine, he reached one arm around her belly, supporting her as he pushed inside her. Despite the teasing he'd given her earlier, he still opted for the more traditional use of the position.

Open as she was, she felt him everywhere. The world fell away in favor of knowing him. He was the man, the questions, the sensation, all at once. Without the puzzles, he wouldn't draw her nearly as much. Even when they'd met she'd sensed that something more in him. Now he filled her and took her over.

She closed her eyes and moved with him, giving over to what he needed.

He moved behind her, slowly, rocking her forward and pulling her back with each stroke. Once he was sure she was in sync with him, he released the hold he had around her waist. His hands rested, then moved, on her back, keeping her grounded with that connection.

"Baby, talk to me. Tell me what you are thinking, what you are feeling. That's what I want."

She tossed her head a little, laughing. "You want to know that I'm full to bursting?" She didn't mean just physically. "Fuck, you feel so good. Want this all the time, want you with me." She tightened around him, drawing out the pleasure of each thrust. "Don't care about anyone else."

"What else, baby? I know there's more going on in there. I can feel it in your body, the way you move." He leaned over her, kissing her shoulder. "You know I want to stay, right? Right here. In this moment. With you."

She nodded, even though she was less sure about that than she could have been. Not that she didn't believe him, but it was easier to dismiss the things in her life that pulled at her than it was to dismiss his. "I feel you here. God, I feel you." She clutched at his hand. "All I can feel is you. Your skin on mine."

He considered pushing her a little more, but decided that he'd rather just see what she did next. He stayed leaned over her, his hand in hers, his lips on her shoulder. Whimpering, he rocked harder, staying deep inside her for longer.

If he'd pushed, she might have pushed back and not said anything that made her feel exposed. Instead he used his body, the lengthening strokes that bound them together, and something inside her loosened. "Whole when you're with me. Everything works right. Doesn't race. Doesn't skip." She shuddered hard. "So good."

He kissed her shoulder again, nodding. "Everything feels right. Doesn't make sense, but it feels right."

"Need you." She moved back against him, pressing harder, but that wasn't what she meant. It would have to do at the moment, though, because her body took over again. Her hand tightened on his to the point that her fingers went white. "Please."

He nodded and started rocking harder still against her. He was pushing himself now, chasing after his own release. If he got another out of her, then good. He didn't have far to go and he was soon whimpering her name in her ear.

Fear of discovery came in all kinds of shapes. Now it helped feed her excitement and she was right with him. All it took was hearing her name that way, so full of emotion, and she was done. She tossed her head back so she could search for a kiss, but she didn't have the control for follow through.

He caught her in that kiss just as he lost the last bits of his control. He cried into her mouth as his body went rigid behind her.

Only the pillows kept her from collapsing completely. Still, she sagged beneath him, unable to hold much of his weight. She stayed in the kiss until she felt his body start to relax, then she gave up with a whimper. "Yes. Good. Very...wow."

He rolled off of her with another whimper, then tucked himself in close next to her with an arm thrown over her to keep her there. "There are pheromones in your soap, I swear to Allah."

She blinked hard at his word choice, not looking over at him for a long moment. Then she laughed softly. "That would explain it except for one little thing." She leaned over and kissed him. "I was using a different soap when we met."
