Carrie slept in a way she didn't unless she was actually well medicated. Going slack against him, she was able to let her body recharge and calm her mind. She did dream, but the images were mostly of the man laying beside her. The images weren't just of things they'd done, but of normal domestic moments, the kinds of things they'd never get.
