He did what he did best in situations like this, he held her and watched her. Once she was really asleep, he let himself relax. The knowledge that they were not having to pack up and travel again in the morning made it more likely that he would actually sleep.
The knowledge that they had found a place that they could start a life, that she was carrying his child, all of it was bordering on being overwhelm, and yet was sthe most reasonable thing in the world to him.
