She laughed softly, with no irony. "I promise, but you have to promise the same thing." She touched his cheek lightly. "Besides the whole running off to escape prosecution thing, I want this to work." It would be nice, now that she was having this kid, if it had both its' parents. Not to mention she was kind of in love with him. "We'll figure it out."
