She exhaled slowly, watching him as he walked away from her. The conversation felt unfinished, even though she'd called an end to it. It wouldn't be finished until they had a real plan. She didn't watch him dress, even though she did love seeing him move. Instead she finished packing up and went to wait for him on the porch steps.
