He'd have accepted marks. He hadn't said she couldn't. As infrequently as his wife saw him shirtless, she could probably even get away with it. But since he didn't know that's what she was thinking, he couldn't tell her that. Not that he would have stopped what he was doing to talk about it. He was enjoying the way she tasted far too much.
