Carrie didn't hide her smile. Like the food joke, it was the usual kind of masculine posturing Marines would do. She had the freedom to show her amusement at it. If she met Brody's eyes in that instant, it didn't mean anything. That her colleague was scowling at the banter, which only made it better.
