She rolled her eyes. "Right on time, exactly when they aren't wanted." She slowly got to her feet, brushing her fingers over his cheek before moving to the other side of the room. She was a little surprised at the vaguely polite knock before the door opened, enough so that she gave Brody a raised eyebrow before looking at the men who entered.
Last one in was a doctor, a CIA doctor, who was there to give Brody another once over. Carrie would have happily told him that the man's stamina was up if she could. Before him was an MP and one of Carrie's colleagues. Together they filled the room, completely blocking her view of Brody. She tried to shift some to see him, but she couldn't do it without being obvious.
